This was stupidly easy! I found Parts Select from a Google search on making the repair. That took me to a YouTube video that Parts Select had posted on how to repair. I followed the instructions and it was fixed in 10 minutes and that was only because I took my time. I ordered the part online from a link on YouTube and I had it in two days............. Unbelievable!!!!
I paid a repairman over $100 to tell me he could find nothing wrong with my leaking dishwasher (it didn't leak when he ran it). I narrowed down the problem to a missing water deflector, but decided to replace the door gasket as well. It took less than 5 minutes to do the job. The only tool I used was a pair of needle-nose pliers to grasp the old door gasket and get it coming out of the groove. Thanks PARTSELECT for super-fast shipping and a website that is easy to navigate. I'll be coming back, 'cause all of my appliances are getting some age on them!
Latch on soap dish was broken and needed to be replaced
The video was of great help. One area that gave me grief was placing the small part with points under the plastic mechanism in the door. I tried to push the points into the open slot. After watching the movie a few more times I was trying to put the part in backwards. A little more explanation at this point in the video would have been a tremendous help. Otherwise, thank you for the video.
Bought a house and with it can an old whirlpool dishwasher in where the soap dispenser lid would latch, as the latch itself was gone. Ordered the latch from part select and used the installation video to switch the latch out. Only problem I came across was that the torx screws at top of he door were free spinning. Ended up using a flat head for leverage to finally get the screws out. Everything works perfectly for once.
The repair was very simple. Simply pull the dishwasher out far enough to access the springs, remove the old with pliers and install the new springs in the same spot as the old ones.
Made sure the power and water were not connected to the dishwasher. Removed the bottom panel. Unhooked the old part. Put some plumber's tape around the threads, hooked it all back up. Runs just as good.

leak at left side bottom of door
took out old door gasket replaced it with new, also cleaned the air vent at top of door. Ordered shield at same time but didn't use it, so returned it, haven't received refund yet, but expect one soon. Dishwasher works great and NO leaks. Wonderful website
What was so awesome was your website! I loved that it brought up the different parts and I was able to pick the exact picture of the one I needed! As a woman is was awesome to be able to easily find the part, order it and install it all by myself! Thanks for making it so easy and streamlined!
The repair man from a serve we use, look up on how to replace the door gasket. Washing hands, do not stretch, and tap rubber into place. No more leaks.
Performed repair as to Video shown in receipt after purchase of spring plus we used a friend who has same dishwasher and has performed the same repair recently, video was easier to follow though. All you do is push off lid with a screwdriver and pop off as per instructions on video then unlatch spring from ledge and pull off post, then just reinsert new spring in reverse order or follow video instructions either way is easy and takes about 15-20 minutes to install
slid the pin into place, noting correct position of spring, backed hinge pieces with screwdriver and pressed door into place. Your video made it easier than ever. ( My 2nd time replacing the pin. ) Great repair experience.
