CSF22TBF Hotpoint Refrigerator - Instructions

I ordered a cam riser for the refrigerator door. I watched the "how to" video the day I ordered the part. It took about a week to get the part, but I was ready when it arrived. The replacement part came with a one page instruction sheet. Following those instructions I cut the two hoses on the old resivour and removed it. I then cut the hoses on the new resivour to desired length (all inside the refrigerator). Using the two couplers provided with the new resivour I hocked the two hoses together and tightened th ... I watched the you tube video. Very easy! the part was easy to order came earlier that expected and was fixed in less than 5 minutes!

Unscrew 2 screws to remove broken part, screw in new.

Ordered part on line, arrived the next day. Looked at the screw (phillips head). Had trouble dropping screws but got our magnetic phillips head and it worked like a charm. So proud of myself as my husband did not have to do a thing.

Empty door first then take a phillip heads screw driver and unscrewed the top hinge cover 1 screw. Then used 5/16 nut driver to loosen top hinge from fridge. remove door by lifting and then lay on table to replace the lower washer that is held in by 2 screws and you only need to loosen one all the way leaving one in to align then replace ... Watched the video supplied by manufacturer and followed the instructions. Very easy.

I followed your terrific video. I first got all tools ready, covered a table in cardboard, and removed food from the fridge door. I removed the cap and screws on top of the door hinge. Lifting the door off was simple, and after laying the door on the table, the retaining screw was easily loosened, and the cam screw removed. The only probl ... Read more em was that half the thin gasket under the broken cam was missing. No new gasket came with the part. I wanted the new cam to lay flat, so I made a partial gasket from a matchbook cover and filled the gap. It all went back together quickly. Just have tools ready beforehand. Ten minute job, unless you have to make a new gasket or part of one. Thanks, guys.

Using the #2 Phillips screwdriver I removed the top hinge cover from the top of the freezer door. Next I used the 5/16 nut driver to remove the 2 bolts holding the top hinge in place. Once it was removed I was able to lift the door off the bottom hinge. Placing the door on a flat work surface I loosened the bottom bolt holding the cam in ... Read more place. I next removed the bolt holding the hinge in place. I was then able to remove the broken cam and replace it with the new one. I then replaced the bottom bolt making sure the hole for the cam and the hole for the hinge are lined up. I then tightened the bottom hinge bolts. I carefully placed the door back on the bottom hinge and put the top hinge back on.

Pretty simple, just take out 2 screws and replace.

Real simple actually.... tracked down the model number. Found and ordered the needed part on partselect.... it arrived OVERNIGHT (scary!). Remove the pieces of the old bracket that were laying in the bottom of the fridge. Remove the 2 mounting screws... install the new slide rail with same screws. Re-install drawer. DONE.

I loosened to Philip's head screws and removed the broken glide, then replaced the new glide, lining up the holes, and then screwing in the two screws from the old glide. This solved the problem- a quick fix. Thank you!!!!
