CSC20GWSBAD Hotpoint Refrigerator - Instructions

First I flipped breaker to off position for refigerator, Pulled down on socket and broke it free. Then took needle nose piars to pull wire and plug out from hole, so I could conect to new light socket then snaped it in place . Hardest part was getting wire and plug out of hole.

It was exactly as shown in your instruction video

I watched the video on the webpage and did as he did. it was quick and easy. didn't realize the importance of this little part until it broke

Took out the broken one and replaced it with the new one.

I did exactly as the video instructed. Removed the top hinge bracket. Removed the door. Replaced the parts on both the door and the freezer, taking care to save and re-install the shims. I put the door back in place and installed the top hinge. I also lubed the hinge pins with very light grease. The door now works perfectly.

The parts purchased worked perfectly and your write-ups explained what the typical problems are with this water leak that was occurring with our GE refrigerator at the nylon water line for chilled water service. Your description highlighted exactly what the problem was and the parts that I needed to make the repairs. This saved me a plumbing service call. All I had to do was cut off the nylon hose beyond the cracked area, apply the water nylon tube union joining the two hose ends and tighten the coupling at the unit.

Went well. Changed the Ice Maker and then the Water Valve. All good and it is making ice.

The entire project was extremely simple with the help of your excellent repair videos. Parts sent with dispatch and with the video, had the repair accomplished within 20 minutes. Removed door, removed old hinge and the defective door cam, installed new hinge and cam, replaced door, job done. Nothing like having a company like yours as backup when problems arise. remover the control cover in the refrigerator compartment prided of the four prong defrost time and replaced, defrosted the solid ice on the freezer compartment with a blow drier, turned on the cooling timer to coolest level it started in a few seconds and has worked like new for the last three days.

removed the back panel and removed the ice with hot water, changed the parts used the screw driver, very easy repair and saved few hundreds doing ot my self, thanks for online instruction,

After receiving the part (quickly) my son-in-law replaced the old one without any trouble. Thanks very much

changing the defrost heaters was very easy, but I had to defrost all the ice built-up first that took a while.The amazing thing was the fast service I got from PastsSelect.com

Recently changed the "under the sink" water filter because ice was getting really small-the filter was old. Ran great for a month or two. Then.....no ice. Water pressure ok. Even filled the ice tray in the ice maker and when frozen it kicked it out.....but no more. Repair took 15 minutes......pretty easy. When I called local appliance repair......they estimated it would cost $200-$250. My part was $44.

Pulled out old socket.pushed in new one.

Watched à video provided at your website. Removed te cover then removed 4 screws holding the control panel' snapped out the old flap and inserted the new one.
