Found the upper arm in the top basket after a cleaning cycle
The only difficulty I had was to get the circle part that was left screwed to the top of the dishwasher unscrewed. My husband is not handy. I do most all repairs and this one was very simple. Once I got it unscrewed all I had to do was screw in the new one. My name is Elizabeth and I am 72 years old (73 on Friday) and my husband still doesn't know that it is fixed.

Upper washer arm detached from assembly
The part was easy to find at the web site, comments by other users explained the entire assembly needed to be replaced and it was simply a matter of unscrewing by hand the old assembly and reinstalling the new assembly. Took less than five minutes and I saved a visit by a repair man.
