Dishwasher would not pump water out
After looking at several youtube.com remedies, I zeroed in on the problem... non-functioning waste water pump. I also noted that the valve flapper was in rough shape so ordered both. Once I got the new parts, I replaced the old ones in less than 30 minutes. When I removed the old pump assembly, I discovered that the four-blade waste water wheel had broken off. For about $75, I repaired what no one in my small rural town could. I think the retail on the dishwasher was somewhere between $300-350, so I figured it was a good deal. Also I scored BIG man points with my wife!

Replace the spray arm
The pipe that the spray arm goes on is about 1and 1/2 inches long. When you push hard on the new part it forces the pipe up where the threads won't catch. I took the dinner knife and pushed on the side of the pipe to keep it from going up. Then had my wife hold that and was able to screw the arm on. The threads are plastic and the new part and the old part are a tight fit. Once the parts engage you have the problem licked. If the pipe was tight it would take less than 5 minutes.

Water Leak in Dishwasher Drain Line
I woke up on Christmas Day to water pooling under the kitchen sink (I guess I made the naughty list last year). Upon inspection, I could see that the water connections for the faucet were damp. Since I had all the parts, I replaced the faucet and service lines. Once complete, there were no leaks so I turned on the dishwasher to double check for leaks in those lines. It was all dry when the dishwasher finished but the next morning, more water under the sink.
I proceeded to replace the water line to the dishwasher and ran it through another wash cycle. Still leaking.
I found PartsSelect online and order a new drain line for the dishwasher. To my amazement, FedEx dropped off my order the next morning........yes, the next morning.
It took five minutes to remove the old drain line and install the new one (just a worm clamp at each end). It would have been faster than that but I don't get up and down as fast as I use to.

The Upper spray arm broke off
First, I looked up a parts diagram on Google. Once I found it, I looked up a repair video, and found a specific on for the upper spray arm. Then I went on Amazon, found the part, and ordered it. Three days later the part came in. First I removed the upper rack. Then I removed the remaining broken part from the top of the dishwasher (required large channel locks because it was on so tight). Then I screwed on the new spray arm, replaced the upper rack, and it was done....EASY!

Inlet valve wasn't letting water in
Turned off water and power! Couldn't move dishwasher out, so access was a little problem. Worked to disconnect inlet hose. Finally unscrewed the whole unit, disconnected the outlet hose and the power connection and then unscrewed the unit from the inlet hose. Removed the ell from old unit, applied Teflon tape, and screwed it into new unit. (Tighten it really well. I didn't and had to take things apart again!) Installed new unit starting with the inlet tube, then the outlet tube then the frame screws. Turned water and power back on and tested the dishwasher. SUCCESS! My wife thinks I'm a hero.

Motor noise
I turned off the water, turned off the circuit breaker and disconnected the wiring. I tried to disassemble the motor but could not without scrapping the part. It will work just noisy. I ordered & installed the new motor without any problem. The new motor was a little noisy the first 5 minutes. I figure the initial noise was due to the brushes seating .
