Top rack rusting in several places. Broken tines
Removed the rack by unlocking the slide stops on each end. That was a bit of a chore until I figured how to remove the stops. Then fairly easy. Removed the 2 small pivoting side rack attachments from the old rack and installed them on the new rack. Installed the new rack in the two sliding side rails and the job was done.

There were holes in the bottom of the old silverware basket, which the handles of the silverware dropped through
I took out the old basket and dropped in the new one. No tools were needed. I am really glad that PartSelect carries this item because Maytag does not. Getting this part will allow us to get a few more years of use out of the dishwasher. The bottom of the old basket was disintegrating to the point where it would soon have become unusable and without the replacement basket, the dishwasher itself would not have been worth keeping.

Did not spin and dishes dirty
First I took apart and went to local appliance store. The wash impeller was broke for sure, but I could not figure how it worked. Their diagrams were not accurate and they only sold a kit for $40 just to get the wash impeller. I went online and found your site. I also could tell by your diagram(which was accurate) that the discharge pump housing was broke also. I found this on your site since it was under the problem I was having. I ordered the parts from you for $32 with shipping (included wash impeller and discharge pump housing). I received the parts on the second day, watched the video, and put back together. It works excellent. I am very impressed and will use your site for anything that breaks, and tell everyone about it. Thanks

The roller on the top rack was broken and rack wouldn't move in and out
It was fairly simple. I watched the video on the website that told me exactly how to install the part. I had some difficulty popping the part onto the rack so I enlisted the help of my son-in-law and he used a small screwdriver to pry the clamp open just a little and it popped onto the rack. It is so nice now to be able to pull the top rack out the whole way and slide it back in.

The rail stops broke in my dishwasher, so we had to replace them and the wheels on the shelf.
The wheels that originally were on the dishwasher were one piece, but the ones from the replacement were two parts. Snapping them together was a bit difficult, especially since I have nail extensions, but I was able to do it. Once that was completed, I snapped them on the side of the shelf as indicated in the schematics. Then, I put the rail stops on the back and installed the shelf. Finally, the front rail stops were installed. Dishwasher was back in action!

theclips holding the top rack were broken
the repair was so easy. I called my local maytag repair man and they want 85.00 dollars for the call and 6.00 a piece for the parts. well really. so i thought how hard could it be? I ordered the parts from Part select and fixed it myself. it took a whopping 5 minutes, 1) un snap the clips at the end of the sliding metal bars and slide out the top rack and remove it.2) take old parts off slide bars by unsnapping them and pulling them off replace them with the snapped together new parts each part has 2 pieces and they will slide one in the designated place there are 2 on each side3) Replace the upper rack swing the clips to secure the rack and then replace the plastic pieces at the ends of the metal bars. Saved 88.00 bucks took me 5 minutes .

Water Leaking from pump hose
We discovered water leaking from the underside of the dishwasher. A closer inspection revealed that a pinhole had opened up in the rubber coupling at the bottom of the top shower pump hose. This piece is permanently attached to the pump hose, so you have to replace the whole thing. Repairing the dishwasher was an easy and straightforward affair as many other reviewers have described. The biggest difference between my experience and others was the presence of a cloth-like covering over the entire tub of the dishwasher. I assume this was either a thermal or sound insulation of some kind. To access the shower pump hose, it was necessary to remove the covering just enough to reach everything. The cover was held in place by some flexible black plastic pins. All that was needed was to work these back and forth until they slipped out of the underlying metal structure. Once I had the insulation pulled back it was a few quick minutes and the dishwasher was up and running.
