Drum was not turning
Removed access plate in rear, raised top panel, removed two screws holding front panel (with door) put new belt over drum. Threaded belt through path between motor drive and idler wheel. Put everything back together.

My order was shipped very promptly, and was received very quickly. It is wonderful to have this service available on the internet. I can remember how difficult it used to be chasing down parts before. This was impossible in smaller cities.

Loud sqweeking after dryer was in operation for over an hour
FOLLOW THE VIDEO!! I was scared to even get into it until I watched the video. Made it easy for me and I have little to no mechanicl skill. Excellent video that made it super easy. Took me an hour as I was taking my time. Now I could probably do the same repair in 20 minutes.

I replaced this belt once before but it squeaked for over a year. This belt from Part Select was much better quality and now the dryer works perfectly, no squealing!

The dryer was making a screeching noise sometimes.
I followed the directions from your video, which was a great help. The only difficulty I had was getting the belt in the tension pulley - you can not see what you are doing and the spring is strong - but I got it. Thanks

The dryer was squeaking.
We followed the video exactly. The video itself was simple and straight forward. Our model was a bit different than the video's example. The video's example had their spring action for the belt configured differently. When we finally figured out the difference, we were able to finish the job within minutes. The dryer now runs like new. We aren't mechanically inclined. That's why it took us so long. I still would recommend this company to anyone because it saved us time and money. The video really helps!

squeek in rear bearing
There are really good instructions with photos on line - search squeeky dryer. I would add that it is easier if you mount the new bearing assembly on the drum before placing the drum back in the dryer cabinet. I guess this is obvious but was not stated in the referenced instructions. The round bearing slotts fairly easily into the plastic pillow block mounted on the back of the cabinet. Just make sure the small ball bearing remains in the center groove - lots of greese will help this.

Dryer was squeking
I watched the video on the web site after selecting the part and it was pretty simple. Everything worked just like the video showed. Probably could have been done faster but I took time to vacuum the inside of the dryer out. Really liked the video.

dryer would not tumble and would trip the thermal overload protection
I disassembled the dryer as described in many of the other repair stories. One tip that I would like to share is to test the motor prior to assembly. I did this by removing the idler pulley and getting the drive belt clear of the motor pulley. Unfortunately I had already disassembled the top and front of the dryer so I had to jumper the door switch to test the motor. If you do it in this manner be very careful to ensure no wiring is shorted or going straight to ground. I found that my motor was shot and replaced it at the same time as doing the other repairs. I used a small magnet to hold the grounding ball in place while replacing the drum bearing, this worked very well and I was able to quickly assemble the parts without an "extra set of hands."

Broken Dryer Drum Belt
Dismantled the dryer to determine that the belt was broken. Called a local supply outlet to request a belt. They said they couldn't find one. Did an online search and found Part Select. Called with the model number and within three days the part was delivered. Replaced the belt and the dryer was working within an hour. Hardest part was getting the dryer out of the laundry room. I would certainly call PartSelect again if I needed a part.
