Ice maker stopped working
I first ordered the electronic control boards. However, they arrived with an Instruction Sheet. The diagnostic procedures listed on that sheet identified that the optics were working properly, so did not use the electronics. That left the motor assembly as the culprit. Ordered that. The motor assembly arrived promptly and installed easily - just like the video. Ice maker began making ice immediately. Thank you PartSelect.

icemaker stopped making ice
We removed the old icemaker, that was the easy part. It only has one bolt holding it in place. The tricky part was installing the new one. The replacement icemaker was a little different than the original, but it fit and works great. Simple connect the wires insert the icemaker, screw the bolt in place and viola. The shipping was so much faster than I had expected. My first order was received broken but they immediately sent a replacement and I got it the next day. It was hassle free and our first time replacing the icemaker went smoothly.

Ice Maker stopped working
I searched the internet and found a detailed instructions list (with pics). The written instructions on Partselect.com were on the money but the pics really helped! Start to finish, the entire job took 15 minutes. If you're the least bit handy, this is an easy one!

Internal light did not come on each time the door was opened.
After disconnecting the electricity. I followed the instructions as indicated in the "HOW TO" article on the website. I used a steel putty knife and pried the light switch out of its retaining hole. I worked the right side the most since this is the side with the retaining clip. After I removed the switch I transferred the two electrical outlets to the new switch and easily snapped it into place. Engaged the electric power and tested the switch.

Ice maker would not release ice cubes
My Ice maker would not release ice cubes, it thought the ice bin was full. So I got on You Tube and looked up how to videos. Partselect videos were the best that I found and the prices were low also. The whole repair took about 15 minutes.

Light in my refrigerator didn't work.
At first I went to a local part supplier and they didn't have it in stock but could order it for me for $55.00 plus $10.00 to ship it. I told them I would have to think about it. I went home and got on the computer and found your web site and was I shocked when I saw the same part listed for $6.98 and $7.00 to ship it. You guys saved me $50.00. The part arrived in two day and took 5 min. to install. I now have light in my refrigerator. Thank you.

Switch was not working after a repairman had fixed something else
Please bear in mind I am 65 years old & it was harder to get up & down off the floor then to change the switch. Was very easy - watched video, unplugged unit. I used the putty knife at the right front corner to work loose, when it came loose had to loose the left side a little. The unit pulled out easily. detached the wired that had a single plug with 2 prongs on it. Attached the plug, pushed new switch into place. There was no way you could place wires on wrong prong. When done, plugged refrigerator back in & checked if working. I CAN SEE THE LIGHT and the food in the freezer now. Thank you for making an easy repair.

No ice or cycling of icemaker
This model uses light sensors to control the icemaker. After determining that the light and sensors operate correctly, the problem is either the icemaker module or the valve. After 6 years there was visible corrosion on the blades, so I selected the entire assembly for about $40 more. The new unt fit perfectly. Wait a while 2-4 hours to see if it works, it is not right away.

Ice maker stopped working
The replacement was an almost exact match, except for the plastic sidewall that needed a hole in it for the water supply shoot. Just removed a couple screws, and reattached the old one. A wire harness and three screws later, and we were making ice.

quit making ice
I watched the video on your web site and did exactly what the video showed. I could not a get an appliance parts shop to tell me how to test the sensor, so I went on your site. It not only showed me how to change the sensor,it showed me how to test the sensor in my refrigerator. I have changed ice makers before, but never the sensor. Your site saved me $75 dollar service call and saved me $35 dollars on the part. Thank you very much!!!!
