This is the replacement cooking tray for your microwave. It is made of glass and is approximately 13 inches in diameter. It has 3 grooves in the middle, which the cooking tray rotates on. The tray rotates in the center to help ensure the food cooks evenly. The main reason to change out the cooking tray is if the original tray is broken or missing. To replace the tray, simply remove it, and replace it with the new one. This part is sold individually and is and OEM part.

I broke the tray while washing it. Dropped in the sink

Removed pieces and replaced. Store that I purchased the microwave from claimed the part was not available. They claimed to have searched the manufacturers parts list.
I got on line to PartsSelect located the part and ordered it. It arrived 3 days later.

So much for depending on retailers for accurate information.

Removed glass turntable, dropped new coupler in slot. Replaced glass turntable. Poured a cup a coffee, placed it in microwave, pushed the 1 min. button. Waited a minute, removed cup and drank my coffee. Total time 1 minute for coffee, 20 sec to replace coupler. Read more...
