Dryer Door Handle - White
PartSelect Number PS11731583
Manufacturer Part Number W10861225
This white OEM dryer door handle is used to open and close the dryer's door. Comprised of plastic and 6-by-2-inches in dimension, the handle is sold individually and attaches to the dryer door. Your dryer door may need replacing if you've accidentally pulled too hard on the door handle in opening. This will be more likely to happen over time as the material weakens through frequent use. If your handle is broken, you may no longer be able to open or close your dryer door, depending on the position your handle broke in. You'll know you need to replace this part if the locking tab has broken off, causing the handle to continually fall out.

Dryer Handle - White
Remove the screws holding the hinges to the door, one on each hinge. Pull the door straight up from the hinges. Be careful, the hinges have springs that shut the door. Once the door is off, remove the screws around the four edges. Separate the front from the inside of the door. Set the inside of the door aside. Remove the flanged nuts from the inside of the door. There may be other screws to remove and save. Save the nuts for reinstallation.
Remove the handle. Replace with the new handle and reuse the flanged nuts and screws to install the handle. Reassemble the door (there may be a piece of cardboard inside for sound proofing) and slide it back onto the hinges. Replace hinge screws. Walla, you’re done. Read more...
