I believe the rotor is scraping against the stator , it makes a hell of a noise when it spins and gets up to speed, I replaced the hub kit , checked the suspension rods, and it feels like it spins freely , however soon as I tighten the rotor down you can hear it just from turning it by hand . Could the rotor be bad ? I don't want to spend 200+ unless I know that's likely the issue , already put 30 into it with the hub thinking that was the issue lol . Please help

Hi Luke, Thank you for your question. Based on your description, it could be the rotor. Sometimes a noise like this may be caused a worn drum bearing. You will need to check the parts in that area of the washer, to see which one is causing the issue. We have included a link from our website that you may reference on what other parts may cause noise in your washer. Once you have determined the part you need, please call customer service. We look forward to hearing from you!

Hello Ron, thank you for contacting us. Please check the basket hub kit, part number PS11723155, and the tub seal and bearing kit, part number PS3503261. A damaged basket hub kit in a washing machine can cause water leakage by allowing water to escape from the washer drum through the damaged area. The basket hub kit is a crucial component in the washer that supports and spins the inner drum, so a damaged kit can result in cracks or holes in the drum, leading to water leakage. Similarly, a damaged tub seal and bearing kit in a washing machine can cause water leakage because the tub seal is responsible for preventing water from leaking out of the tub and into the surrounding area. Does the rotor, satar or both parts contain oil or grease? My machine is splattering black grease or oil and would like to replace/fix that part.

Hello Keith, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend checking the hub kit, part number PS11723155. It connects the spin basket to the spin shaft that spins the basket. When damaged, it can make the washer noisy. Please reach out to customer service if you need help placing an order. Glad to be of help!
