Dishwasher is throwing a code 7E pump appears to be working good it is draining good and the bottom wand is moving back and forth as it should can you tell me whether or not the water vein should have a magnet on the bottom
For model number DW80H9930US
Hi Michael,
Thank you for your question. The 7E error code is water wall vane error. To resolve the issue, remove any packaging tape that may still be on the vane. Also, if there are any loose wires on the water vane or sensor, reconnect them. You may wish to check the vane with a multimeter to see if it is working correctly. If it is not, you will need to replace it. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

The waterwall is not returning to it's original position when the cycle is finished it is remaining in the center of the dishwasher blocking me from cleaning the filter unless i manually pull the waterwall back to it's original position - no errors are showing on the controls.

Hello Stephen, Thank you for the question. Sadly, I could not find any information about your problem. I recommend contacting the manufacturer and seeing if they could provide you with a part number, and then you are always welcome to check back to see if we carry the part. Hope this helps!

I'm getting error code 7e but there is nothing blocking the vane and it doesn't look like the vane is moving back and forth consistently. What controls the vane movement? Could the problem be the magnet attached to the vane?
For model number DW80H9950US
Hi Bob, thank you for your question. If your water vane is fine then you may need to go on to check your vane sensor, part: PS9606354. Or the wiring that goes to the parts. Good luck with your repair.
