Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This water inlet valve assembly is a critical component that controls water flow into the dishwasher during wash cycles. It ensures proper filling for optimal cleaning performance and is commonly replaced when the dishwasher fails to fill, won’t start, or doesn’t wash effectively. For safety, shut off water and power before installation and wear protective gloves.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?

No need for inlet valve
So was told that i needed the inlet valve when changing the drain hose. Actually the new drain hose doesn't connect to the inlet valve. It of a new design (drain hose) has a breather tube that actually connects to a plastic body on the side of the dish washer. That body does not happen to have where this breather tube would connect to. So to make the drain hose work i took off the breather tube and capped it off using a simple rubber cap. I have NO need for the new inlet valve. Can i return it and get my money back. The dish washer is running great.

Better than original design
Shipping was misleading I paid for 2 to 3 day and it took 7 so I wouldn't recommend paying the extra. But the replacement was an updated design which was a one piece brass end instead of the 2 piece which was nicer and more installer friendly.

Shipping was horrible.
Part was what I needed. Took two weeks to ship and the customer service rep promised it would go out next day twice and it still shipped via regular shipping. Would not order from them again.

Does not load water. Only drain pump operates
For model number LDF6810ST
Hi Thomas, Thank you for the question. If all the functions and lights are working except the fill, I suggest checking the water inlet valve,PartSelect Number PS9495756. Hope this helps!

We cracked the blue plastic part that is directly behind the water line inlet. When you turn the water on, it sprays all over the place. Is this the blue plastic part? I'm having trouble making out the exact part on the diagram. Thanks!
For model number LDS4821ST
Hi Stephen,
Thank you for your question. The blue plastic is actually part of your valve. So it would be this part. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Continuous droning/snoring noise during cycles. Washes and cleans fine.
For model number LDF6920ST
Hi Ralph,
Thank you for your question. If your washer is noisy, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the circulation pump motor, the pump gasket and the filter? I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My dishwasher showed an IE error. Water did not go and I opened up the bottom parts inside the machine, everything looked good, so I checked the manual, it said the IE error referred to water inlet hose problem, so I just want to make sure that the water inlet hose is same as water inlet valve. Can you help?
