Need to replace bake element
First, cut the power and remove the oven from the cabinet.
The bake element is accessible from the back and sits in a drawer.
As someone else said, you have to use pliers to bend the cover of the drawer, you will make some damage to the cover, but there is nothing you can do about it.
Make a note of what w

When you replace the bake element, make sure you insert it in the straps so it won't wiggle when it heats.
To close the cover that you bent, you will need a helper and push really hard.

The oven is 18 months old, tried the self-cleaning for the first time and now the oven won't heat. After about a two-hour cycle (almost done) we got the message "e302- electronics are too hot". Attempted to cancel but the oven wouldn't allow so i followed the directions in the manual and turned off the breaker. Once cooled attempted a simple warming process but no heating. Everything else seems to be functioning properly- fan, control panel, etc. Guessing its the heating element?
For model number HBLP651LUC/03
Hello Markus, thank you for your question. E302 means that the oven thinks the convection fan motor has shorted and needs to be replaced. You'll need to flip the circuit breaker off to the oven or unplug the oven. Then open the door and remove all the oven racks and such. Remove the screws going into the back cover panel inside the oven so that you can remove the panel and see the element. Unscrew the ground element and test continuity through it with a multimeter. If it has no continuity, replace the element---otherwise your control board is just bad and the main relay control board would need to be replaced. I hope this helps!

Hi,
What is the difference between my Bosch model # HIIP054C/01 and the one you have parts for HIIP054U(01)? Are they the same model? I guess U for USA and C for Canada... If yes, the baking element part that you sell #313 will it fit?
Also do I need to change the sensor if I will be replacing the baking element?
Thank you for your time.
For model number HIIP054C/01
Hello Patrice, Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, the HIIP054U is the US made model, and HIIP054C would be the Canadian version, so it would be the same part number for the bake element for both. Good luck with your repair.

lower oven will not heat on bake setting but will heat on broil
For model number hbl8651uc/03
Hello Jane, thank you for your question. In an electric range, this issue is usually caused by either the electronic range control or the bake bottom element. We recommend checking the following parts to fix the issue: the oven temperature sensor, part number PS10057828, the bake element, part number PS9495682, and the control module, part number PS16544600. We hope this sorts out your problem!
