How do you attached the vent from the dryer to the wall. On the dryer there is only a hole. Do i just try to stick the vent into that hole and call it done or should there be a piece coming out from the hole on that dryer?
For model number GTDX180ED4WW
Hi Peter, thank you for your question. The vent hose from your wall should attach at the duct on your dryer. You would need a screw clamp to keep it in place. Good luck with your repair.

For model number GTDX180ED4WW
Hi Peter, thank you for your question. Yes, the corrugated portion should be sticking out just a little bit there so you can clamp down the vent hose. This would be the part number for your duct: PS9494508. Good luck with your repair.
