A breather hose is used within the ventilation system for a crankcase, or engine, to connect the crankcase to the air manifold and allow hot air to escape. This genuine OEM breather hose is made of a high-quality rubber and is designed for use and compatible with several different makes and types of outdoor power equipment, such as lawnmowers, tillers, engines, log splitters, and snowblowers. Due to the build material of this hose, it can break down over time and through exposure to gas, oil and excessive heat. If you notice any damage on the hose, fuel leaks or worsened engine performance resulting in rough idling or stalling, this hose may be damaged or simply need replacing. To replace this hose, locate the hose on your model and remove any clamps, before pulling off the old hose and installing the new, with any necessary hardware such as clamps.
