This part will not get tight enough to hold the door in its proper position.
For model number GFD28GMLCES
Hello Angel, Thank you for your inquiry. It is possible that either the screw is damaged, or the hole in the door that it goes into is damaged inside. If you've replaced the screw and it is still spinning or not tightening properly, you may have to replace the door. Hope this helps!

The screw is damaged like you said. But it doesn’t tighten at the door it tightens on the refrigerator just below the door can that whole be repaired?

The screw that holds the door bracket to the refrigerator is damaged so is the hole on refrigerator can that hole be repaired?
