My INFORRED SUPPOSELY HAS GONE OUT. DOES THE CONTROLL BOARD OPERATE THIS FUNCTION. ?????? FYI I have change batteries in the remote also bought a new remote and still no luck.

Hi James, thank you for contacting us. The main control board has an infrared receiver that receives signals from the remote. If the infrared receiver is not working, the remote control will not be able to communicate with the control board. We recommend replacing the electronic control board, part number PS8757489, to fix your issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!

My unit has stopped Cooling but the control panel for it is hard to switch like it's hung up
