Hi, this dishwasher is over filling and causing code e15..i have searched hi and low and cannot locate a fill, or float switch for this unit...can you tell me what may be the problem ,or where water level sensor is located? thanks ,dave
For model number SHE68T52UC/02
Hi Dave,
Thank you for your question. According to the Bosch website, the E15 error code on the Bosch dishwasher informs a user that the leakage protection has worked. This means that water has got into the machine tray or the float has stuck (a special switch that activates the protection system). The float is located inside of the tub at the bottom of the dishwasher and the float switch is located beneath the tub directly below the float. The float lifts as the water level in the dishwasher rises, and when the proper water level is reached, the stem of the float activates the float switch to turn off the water inlet valve. A malfunctioning float or float switch could cause the water level to be too high and create a leak. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.

replaced wash motor easy job now e15 showed on display and only drain pump runs could float switch be stuck
For model number shs863wd2n/11
Hi Frank, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the e15 error code is caused by too much water in the base of the dishwasher. We would recommend checking the float, part number PS8728720, float switch assembly, part number PS8737139, drain hose, part number PS8737004, and drain pump, part number PS11704799. We hope this solves your problem!
