Is there a procedure on your website that documents how to remove the switch from the control panel?
For model number SHX4ATF5UC
Hello Brent! Thank you for your question! The first step is to shut power off to the appliance. Open door and remove the three screws on either side of the door that holds the outer door panel. Slide the panel down and pull out away from the door. Remove the 6 screws at the top of the door that holds the control panel and pull off. Don't mix the screws, they are different sizes. The top control panel screws are longer than the outer door panel screws. Use a flat head screwdriver push in the locking tab and remove the switch wire connector. Removed the switch support. Using the flat head screwdriver lift the tab on the side of the switch and slide it to the left. Reinstall by inserting the switch with the cutouts on the sides to make sure they are fitting over the tabs and slide the switch to the right until it locks into place. Install the switch support, plug in the wire connector and place the control panel to the door and secure it with the screws. The door panel would be reinstalled at this point and then you can shut the door. Power can be turned on to the unit at this point and your done! I hope this helps!
