Is there a defrost timer on this unit? Won't defrost and had guy replace heating element and thermostat and "motherboard" still won't go into defrost even with forced program defrost?
For model number PLHS69EGSS1

Hello Mike, thank you for your question. There is no defrost timer in this unit. The defrost cycle is controlled by the board, heater, and thermostat.

Not the freezer but the other side is cooling good but there’s no airflow
For model number DFHS2313MFA

Hi Pedro, Glad to hear from you. If there is no air flow, the issue may be with the air damper. The air damper balances the air flow between the freezer and the fresh food sections of the refrigerator. If it is not working correctly it will need to be replaced. If the evaporator fan motor is not operating correctly, temperatures in the refrigerator will rise. Unplug the refrigerator from the electrical outlet, before inspecting it. The motor shaft should turn freely with minimal resistance. Turn the shaft manually to see if there is any resistance. If there is ice on the motor, defrost your freezer and see if that resolves the issue. You should also inspect the motor for any signs of wear or damage. If you cannot turn it easily, or if it is noticeably worn, you need a replacement evaporator fan motor. We hope this helps!
