Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This replacement infinite switch is designed to regulate the heat output of a dual-element surface burner on your range or cooktop. It allows for precise temperature control, ensuring consistent and reliable performance during cooking. If a burner fails to heat or remains stuck on a single setting—such as high—this component may be the cause. Compatible with a variety of models across several brands, this switch helps restore full functionality to your appliance.

stove switch
The part looked a little different than the original with new pins. I followed the example of the old part when rewiring and the install went great and it works fine.

Does this part control all low to high settings. My current front right burner burns on high at the low setting all other settings work as they should. Will this part fix that problem?
Hi Kyle, Thank you for the question. Yes, if the element settings are not working and the element is on high on all settings, I suggest replacing the Switch Kit. Hope this helps!

Does this switch need adjustment if it stays on high on all settings? I bought a new one and it does this.
For model number GLEC30S8CQA
Hello David,
Thanks for your question. We would advise checking the wiring to the switch and the switch itself to see if it is stuck. Consider testing it with a multi-meter to see if it has continuity as well, and replace it if it does not show continuity.
I hope this helps.
