The outer cover--not sure if it is glass or plastic--on the dryer door has started to crack next to the handle where it gets the most stress. There are two stress cracks about 2 inches long. Do the cracks affect the dryer's efficiency? Can just the outer window be replaced or does the whole door have to be replaced? What would the price be for each, if replacing just the outer window is even an option. What is the parts number? Thanks for any help you can offer.

Hello Sarah, Thank you for the question. The cracks will not effect the efficiency but will get worse and may cause the handle to break. The outside cover is PartSelect Number PS3648593. Hope this helps!
The outer door window (the clear part not the frame cover) on the dryer door has cracked next to the top of the handle. There are two stress cracks about 2 inches long. Can I buy just the outer door's clear window piece? I do not think I should need to buy the whole door.
