Water Filter Specifications

This OEM filter is 6-7/8-inches long, 1-1/2-inches in diameter and weights approximately 0.6 lbs. It cuts down on water pollutants such as chlorine, sediment, sand, silt, algae, turbidity and more. To ensure your filter is working efficiently it needs to be replaced every six months or if you notice a difference in water quality or flow. It is compatible with LG refrigerators that have French doors and four-door dispensing models. To install, first remove the old filter by pulling it down and discard. To install the new filter, first make sure the cartridge tabs are in the horizonal position and push it into place until it stops. Close the cover until it clicks. Run water for about five minutes to prepare the filter. Discard the water. If your model has a Filter Reset button, push to reset.

Can filter: ADQ73613404 be installed in lieu of filter: ADQ36006101?

Hi Roger, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately I do not believe so. Both of those parts have different molds and so are shaped differently where the part connects to the appliance. They would not be able to be interchangeable. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Hello. Previously posted a question and you requested model of refrigerator. The filter i purchased from sears .Com states filter numb as previously used but make now is zuma adq 36006102 and water tastes terrible. Is this the correct water filter?

Hello Blanca, thank you for that information. The only compatible replacement filter we can verify will work with your unit is part number ADQ36006101. I wouldn't recommend using any filter besides the recommended one for that unit. If the water is tasting bad I would recommend removing the water reservoir tank and cleaning it out well. Sometimes, the held water there can start to taste bad. Hopefully that helps!

I'm looking for the water filter bypass plug for filter adq36006101. I had a soft water and reverse osmosis system installed and now have little to no ice being made. Any help with finding this is appreciated.

How do i remove the water filter?

The door to the water filter is broken. I cannot get the parts to fit back into place.

The part number listed under your model number for the bisque water filter housing is PS11731636. The part number for the black water filter housing is PS11759606. I need a replacement water filter(adq36006102) for my Kenmore elite 3 door refrigerator. I wasn't able to find it on site and based on reviews, it's not clear that more Generic brands will work. If i can't find a replacement, does that mean i can't use the water dispenser feature? Also i was on direct order for this part and it wold have been helpful if customers were informed ahead of time. Thanks for any advice/info you can give.
