It has a mind of it's on , cools great sometimes it completely shuts off then comes back on and keeps going through different settings does this sometimes for a couple of hours.Then it works fine for several days, weeks and then starts it all over again. It's like ghost in the machine sort of thing. I'm thinking control board because when it is doing it's thing the control button functions do not work, remote will not work, if you reset the unit on the power cord it will not come back on. It did this the other day and 6 hours later it was on running. If it is board i need to get this ordered , it is driving me and the wife nuts.

Hello David, thank you for your question. Yes, it definitely sounds like an electronic board issue. It could be an issue with the display board, or the main board. If the display on the unit works sometimes, and functions as normal, but the actual unit starts and stops, the main board should be replaced. If the display doesn't work at all and you aren't able to adjust the settings on the touch panel, replace the display board first. I hope this helps!
