Followed instructions in owner's manual, which are also on the bottle of cleaner we ordered. Very easy to use. Only had to take ice out of bin, and cut ice maker off, then add the cleaner to the water pan, and press button to clean. It was very easy, and effective. The buildup of stain, etc. was removed completely. We just had to turn

Ice Maker was not making normal ice and was making noise.
Emptied ice from bin. Drained water. Added cleaner and started clean cycle. When done, restarted ice maker. Works great now!
