Small plastic pieces broke and knob wouldn't work
Had to go to an Internet forum to find out how to remove broken knob (while pushing, turn counterclockwise), but repair was a snap after that.

Hi, does the replacement timer know for the washer include 2 metal washers inside it? When the knob broke and fell apart, two washers came out and i would like to know whther one or both washers should be placed on the shaft before installing a new knob, or whether the washers were inside the knob assembly and willl therefore be inside a replacement knob. Thank you for your question. It looks like those washers were part of your knob. So replacing your knob is all you would need to do.

Where are the replacement instructions on te website
For model number WH01x10064:
Hello Jim, Thank you for your inquiry. You unscrew the old knob from the timer shaft and screw the new knob on. Hope this helps!
