My handy man skills are average. The you tube video on replacing this specific part was extremely helpful. Very well done. I am always grateful to those who so generously share their experience and knowledge.

I have standing water in the tub of my dishwasher after the cycle is complete. The pump is working but not completely emptying the tub. Could the solenoid be the cause?
For model number GSD3360D00SS GE DISHWASHER
Hello Len, thank you for your question. If there is water left in the dishwasher after the unit has finished the cycles, you would want to replace the Drain Solenoid and Bracket Assembly Part Number: WD21X10268. This valve opens in order for the water to drain out of the dishwasher. If it is "stuck" open it can let water back in. I hope this helps!

My dishwasher is leaking from below. The repairman thinks it is pump #311. Why is there calcification on the metal next to the pump housing and on my floor? Could something else be wrong also?
For model number GSD2300V00BB
Hello Nancy, Thank you for writing. This could be caused by hard water that is leaking from the faulty pump. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

Won't drain. I did replace the solenoid, but draining is very weak. Any ideas?
For model number GSC3500R20WW
Hi Richard,
Thank you for your inquiry. I would suggest checking to see if there are any blockages in your drain tubes and the drain pump. If you do not have any blockages you might want to test your pump mechanism (or drain pump and motor assembly). I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
