I want to purchase four burner grates jxgb89 but i find out that jxgb89b part no. Ps220743 or jxgb89w part no. Ps951573 both are discontinued. Please advise if i can buy other burner grates and what model i can use to replace my existing bruner grates. Thanks.

Can I use this item to replace the more expensive grates that came with the range. I want new ones but the cost is too much considering that i rent and landlord will not replace the old rusty ones.Thanks

Taupe/gray stove grates stained/discolored
I could not get these grates clean, so I called Partselect and they helped me find the model of the same stove that had black grates, drip pans, and burner caps. I ordered the black grates one afternoon, and without paying for expedited shipping, they arrived the next day! They were in original GE boxes (since they make Hotpoint). I am happy about the whole experience.

Clock wouldn't keep time
Removed the top back cover. Then removed screw for clock circuit board. swapped wires from old circuit board to new circuit board. reinstalled screws. Then replaced top back cover.

I placed a plastic container on the burner and melted it!!!
I removed the four burners and the two metal tops, easy as one, two, three!!

Lifter the old items off and replaced them with the new ones.
