Large burner works but I adjust the heat. When you turn it on, it automatically goes to the high heat can't turn it down. What part do I need?
For model number JBP78WY2WW
Hi Jackie, Thank you for the question. If the element its self still works but only works on high, the switch that controls the burner will need to be replaced. Hope this helps!

Front dual burner, inside burner does not burn is this a switch or element problem
For model number JB700SN3SS
Hello Debra, thank you for your question. The most likely issue is the switch. Test the switch before replacing to determine if the part has failed. Here is a link that will provide information on testing the switch. https://www.partselect.com/Range-Stove-Oven+Infinite-Switch-Testing+repair.htm.
I hope this helps!

Small burner has a dead spot on the control at position 4. Will this item correct this problem? Thank you.
For model number JBP80W0F1WW
Hello James, Thank you for your inquiry. It could either be the switch or the element itself. You can test the parts with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, we have videos available to assist you. Good luck with your repair.
12 inch dual burner doesn’t remain on. It shuts off after a bit but doesn’t cycle back on. Not sure it’s the burner or the switch. What do you think ?

How can I tell if the dual element switch or dual element is bad. The outside larger ring gets hot but the inner does not.
For model number Jbp66wk3ww
Hello Aaron, Thank you for your inquiry. You can test the parts with a multimeter. Put the multimeter on the Rx1 setting, and touch the probes to the terminals. The first part you will want to check is your radiant element. The exact reading you should receive varies between models, refer to your owner’s manual to determine what yours should be, but if any element has a reading outside of 19 to 115 ohms, it is defective. The other part to check would be your infinite (or surface burner) switch. When you remove that part from the appliance, connect each probe from your multi meter to the prongs and then turn the switch to an on position. If you get no continuity then the switch is the issue. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Glass- top range had two burners that would not regulate. Burners went to HIGH when dial was set on any setting, even low.
Replaced switches. Dual power switch had been updated and didn’t match original part but there were accurate instructions in package to allow correct wiring easily. Good job Parts Select.

The part works great. Easy to install. Pulling out the stove and cleaning the area took more time than replacing the switch. The wife was happy about the repair.

Ordered the DUAL BURNER CONTROL
GE Model : JB710S0K4SS your web site lists it as JB710SK4SS, is that the same model ? Then I ordered the DUAL BURNER CONTROL, but seems like I got an Infinity Switch Replacement Kit for a single burner part no WB24T10058. On my old EGO controller there was a post for S2 and S1, and the black wire was jumped from P2 to S1. On the controller that I got post S2 and S1 are missing. Instructions that came with the part, WB00X7094 do not mention S1 and S2 either, so how is this a DUAL BURNER CONTROL I don't know and it doesn't work the small plate alone, just the larger plate and small plate together. Do I have the correct part for a DUAL BURNER ?
