the coil starts to heats up and than shuts off? will the Switch infinite Control fix that?

It turns the element on and off and controls how much heat the element produces. If that does not help, we would recommend replacing the Radiant Element. If you need the Radiant Element 5.5-inch, the part number is PS2370248, and if you need the Radiant Element 8-inch, the part number is PS2339867. We hope this sorts out your problem!
