Kitchenaid dishwasher lower rack
It’s nice wish it came with instructions on how to install it? Or a video

Unavailable parts
Very disappointed that I cannot get replacement racks for my dishwasher. It was a high-end dishwasher and now the rains have started to rust and there are no parts available. Very disappointed

Dishwasher rack was not at all like the one it was supposed to replace, despite matching serial number and brand. Can’t figure out how the part was so wrong.
My dishwasher racks are stil falling apart. Frustrating!

Bad Substitute
Part noting like original dish-rack. Loading of dishwasher not as efficient as with original part. Tines on new part bend to easily. Unfortunately, manufacturer has nothing other than this part either. This is a good reason NOT to purchase Kitchen-Aid in the future.

How do you remove the lower rack? Having trouble finding the release points.
For model number KDTM404EWH2
Hi Troy, thank you for the question. Pull out the lower dish rack and lift up the locking tabs on left and right lower rack track to fully remove the rack. We are sure this will help!
