How do I remove and replace the front wheel? This is an adjustable caster wheel on the front of a GE GSH22JFXLBB?
For model number GSH22JFXLBB
Hi Joe,
Thank you for your question. Before you begin any repair please unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet or turn the circuit breaker off. To begin the repair, open both doors and remove the grill. Before removing the front wheels, stick a couple pieces of wood under the corner of the refrigerator, so it does not tip over when you do the repair. Use a socket with a rachet to remove the 3/8th bolt securing the roller. Once the bolt has been removed, you may remove the roller. Whirlpool does not put threads in the holes on the new roller. To make it easier to install the roller onto the refrigerator, place the bolt in the hole in the roller first and then cut the threads holding onto it as opposed to trying to install it when you are putting it onto the refrigerator. Once you have done this, remove the bolt from the roller so you can install it onto the refrigerator. There is a groove in the roller that fits into the bar in the refrigerator. Align the roller so the groove fits into the bar and secure it with the bolt. Once the bolt is in, you can use the adjustment screw to adjust the screw in the back, so the refrigerator is level. Reattach the grille and close the doors. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Wheels worn out.
Can’t repair it yet. Because it’s taking you too long to send me my parts. Tried calling but your answering service conveniently won’t answer. Had to cancel first order and reorder hopefully to receive faster.
