Easy repair, after correcting an assembly error
As received the assembly was configured wrong to fit my oven. The front plate that connects to the back wall of the oven is keyed, by the small tab at its bottom and matching indentation in that oven wall; apparently to orient the connecting cable. The problem was that the motor mount, attached to that plate by four screws, is also keyed to the back structure of the oven by holes in two of its four mounting tabs. To allow placement of the assembly in the oven back wall those holes must align with the radial axis of the two stud holes in the edge of the front plate [for the nuts used with four screws to hold the motor assembly to the oven wall]. In the assembly I received the motor had been assembled rotated 90 degrees out of position, placing solid tabs in interference with a pair of projecting studs inside the mounting hole.
Once I figure out the problem it was a simple task to remove the four motor-to-front-plate screws, rotate the motor 90 degrees, then reattach it to the front plate. That did slow me down a bit getting the new part installed.
