Worked as expected
Works fine. Looks well built. The original probe looked fine also but fell apart after very few uses, and having used probes for over 40 years, I know not to tug on the wire. Hope this one lasts as long as the one that goes with my 30 year old convection/microwave.

New meat probe thermistor to replace old frayed wire one.
I purchased and installed a GE In-wall Oven in 2008 and installed it. It has worked very well over the years but the wire on the probe end eventually frayed and it quit working in November of 2021. No complaints with that. I thought 13 years on a silicon coated wire probe was pretty good.
I had to find and purchase a new probe, especially since it roasts the meat in the oven to the exact temperature you set the probe for and stops the cooking. The probe from PartSelect works identically to the original equipment for this oven and I am very happy with the result.

Oven meat probe broken
This item worked as described. I paid more for this 'oem' probe than the generic 1 because i didn't want to chance it not working as others have reported. - works great. tested it....snaps in, reads correctly, snaps out.

I ordered and received the probe thermistor which matches the picture in my owner's manual. However, I cannot find the receptacle in my oven for the probe. My range was purchased in 2015. The probe which I ordered and received does not match the receptacle. I have a pad on the cook top for turning on the probe. Can you help?
