What is listed as the "funnel fill valve" ties directly into the solenoid valve from the water supply, correct?

Hello Bruce, thank you for asking. No it does not. Inside the tub, on the back panel there is a round plastic nut that simply unscrews. You may use pliers carefully if it is stuck. Once you have the nut off, with the dishwasher unhooked and pulled out, find the find the Dishwasher Fill Funnel ( plastic rectangle that is rounded at the top) to match up with the hole left from removing the nut on the inside.
