broken drive coupling and turntable ring
No tools required,simply inserted the drive coupling onto the drive shaft at the bottom of the microwave and then placed the turntable ring underneath where the turntable sits.

This is the fourth time this part and the carousel has melted and adhered to the microwave cavity. The first three times the microwave was repaired by Feds Appliances, under warranty. As far as I can see the only way this could have happen would be a failure of the drive motor during cooking. Any wisdom you can drop will be greatly appreciated

Hello Gary, thank you for reaching out. We have researched the model and it seems that the issue might be caused by an overheating turntable drive motor, part number PS8728103. Checking the drive motor for continuity using a multimeter might help. Good luck with the repair!
