Bad fit
One of the paddles in my Bosch washing machine became damaged and had to be replaced. Ordered a replacement part said to be an original part and not a knock off. I honestly don’t know if it is a knock off. It looks and feels like the original except I can’t lock it into place. The original has a button in the center that locks into a hole in the drum. The new part has the button but doesn’t lock into place. It seems to be too short to lock into the drum. There is no way to get it to lock. So it is useless. I hope this review is helpful

Agitator paddle came loose
I read another review that they had trouble fitting the part. The only "trick" I found is that as the drum is obviously round, you really have to have all the fastening hooks front and back of the replacement part exactly lined up with the receptacle slots on the drum. Perhaps not as easy as it sounds as the metal is polished and the plastic easily slides a millimeter either way and away from the slots. And I also pushed down front and back on the part as I slid the whole thing forward into position. I was rewarded with a very satisfying click as it locked into place. Took three or four attempts but it fits and stays and is an exact replacement even if the numbers embossed on the part are different to the part which broke loose. Part arrived on a Saturday, less than 48 hours from my order. I have another spare for future needs as plastic agitator paddles clearly take a beating over several years.

How to install
For model number Wat28401uc

Hi Concepcion, on most models there is a tab you press down on to remove the old paddle, you may have to use a wrench or screw driver to access it. After removing the old one it is simple to align the new paddle pop it in and slide it up. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!
