No heated dry. I replaced the element and still no heated dry?
For model number GDT545PSJ0SS
Hello Scott, Thank you for the question. This could be a defective Thermostat that is located on the wire Harness PartSelect Number PS11762972. I suggest checking for continuity with a multi meter. Hope this helps!
I ordered the heating element from you and received it last night. I replaced the heating element in the dishwasher and it is still not working. No heated dry or not cleaning the dishes. I assume the dishes are not getting clean because the water is not hot enough.
For model number GDF520PGJ0WW
Hello William, Thank you for the question. Once the water fills and you open the door a bit there should be a fair amount of steam. If not, you can try to run the hot water at the sink for a few moments before running the appliance to see if this helps. If the water is cold going into the tub, the element may not have enough time to heat the water to the proper temp before the wash cycle starts. I also suggest cleaning out the filters to make sure there is no build up. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
