Cooktop was broken when something fell on glass top. It appears the heating elements are not damaged. Do you have a video to see if I can install this myself before I order the top. How can I test to see if the elements are not damaged, in case the heat elements may need to be replaced? Can I turn on the stove top elements?
For model number WGE745C0FS00
Hello Diane,
Thanks for your question. We do not have an installation video with the cooktop part, unfortunately. We apologize for the inconvenience. The elements can be tested with a multi-meter to see if they have continuity - replace them if they do not have continuity. We would advise against using the elements until the cooktop is installed.
I hope this helps.
