washer would not power up after a storm that knocked out power
removed the lid with 3 screws, unplugged existing unit one plug at a time connecting the new unit.
Tested it - it powered right up. replaced lid and screws.

I have a F1 code I need to know what’s causing it and how do I take care of it if there’s a part that needs to be replaced which one is it and what is the exact part number of that part

Hi Barry, Thank you for your question. The F1 error code is letting you know that the electronic control board is having difficulty communicating with the motor. To fix the issue you will need to unplug the washer for 15 minutes and plug it back in. If the error code reappears, then you will need to replace the electronic control board. I hope this helps.
