Washer would not fill
replaced actuator switch. It did not fix the problem. Replaced actuator arm, and fixed. Needed the switch because gears were stripped. Needed the arm because it seems over time, the arm straightened, thereby increasing its length so that the rotation of the switch bound up during its cycle.

The washer machine didn’t start the cycle. Had a weird sound. Then f 30 was ther error code. With research internet it was easy to know about the motor dispenser problem
I did follow step by step your YouTube video. I’m a woman. There was nothing heavy in the process. You have to be careful that’s it. Thank you for the instructions. I fixed it with the YouTube tutorial you provided. Really nice from you people.

Yes my unit will not start, and it issued trouble codes "e01" & "f06" on the display. I did not see any options for the trouble codes on your site, but ya''ll stipulate will not start causes being one of 3 items, temp sensor, dispenser actuator switch, or the mcu, just today-11/8/2017 while day before yesterday(11/6/2017) on your site, i entered the same query & it stipulated temp sensor, door switch/lock, & mcu as the options. I searched same query app 10 days ago and it said the same thing as day before yesterday(11/6/17), temp sensor, door switch/lock?, & mcu. I ordered, received & installed the temp sensor as your site stipulates that this was the problem 80% of the time, while the other 2 weighed in at 10%. I got on your site to order the door switch/lock option as the temp sensor did not work and further yet it issued the same trouble codes, e01 & f06. I am at a loss because i thought would pull it up again so i could order the door switch and figured to take that link displayed , but this time the door/switch/lock was not an option and had been replaced by the "dispenser switch lock". My question, what should i order? Another question, why do these trouble codes issued by the machine not enter into ya'lls calculations on what may be wrong with the appliance as they are generated for troubleshooting. On yet another site(repair clinic) stipulated similarly to your site, they listed temp sensor, door switch/lock, ccu & mcu? Thanks so much, I guess more than anything, I'm wondering about the trouble codes issued by the effected machine, thanks.

Hi Gary, Thank you for the questions. The list of symptoms with percentage is determined by our customers ordering the parts and why, so this can change depending out what people are ordering for certain issues they are having. The E01 & F06 error codes indicate a Communication issue between the CCU (central control unit) and the MCU (motor control unit). Check door switch operation. Faulty switch may interfere with power to MCU. Verify continuity in cable between CCU and MCU and that there is no damage to the boards or the drive system. In most cases the MCU will need to be replaced.Hope this helps!
Hello, my washer stopped working when there was a load in there and water has not drained. Now when I try to start the washer the door locks, but then after a few minutes error codes E02 and F01 show up. I unplugged it for a couple hours and same results. Can you help?
For model number MHW6000XW2
Hello Tim,
Thanks for your question. This situation arises due to a faulty motor control board. You may wish to replace this, though I recommend checking the wiring to the control board first after unplugging the machine to ensure there is no loose wiring.
I hope this helps.
How do i know if the dispenser actuator switch has failed? I use the auto dispenser to dispense laundry detergent and fabric softener. The softener cup does not dispense all of the softener for a single load, and after a few washes gets gummy. Could it be the fabric softener i am using? Is there an error code or a way to test the actuator switch before i replace it?
For model number WFL98HEBU0
Hi Kathy, thank you for your question. Yes, it could be the fabric softener itself. However there are some parts that you may want to check if they need cleaning out. First would be the housing for your detergent itself there. Check the ports to see if there is any build up that would be stopping the flow of water into the housing and then down into your tub. The other part to check would be your water inlet valve itself there. It could be that it is not bringing enough water into the machine. The valve can be tested with a multi meter and should be reading between 500 - 1500 ohms of resistance. If both of those things have been checked and they are in working order, then it might be your switch that is the issue. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Washing machine using too much detergent. Would replacing the blue dispenser help? Thank you.
For model number WFW92HEFU0
Hi Tonya, thank you for reaching out. Yes, if the detergent dispenser, part number PS3418101, is faulty or damage it can cause the washer to use too much detergent. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!
Machine will not fill with water to begin cycle. What part do you recommend to solve this problem.?
For model number WFW94HEXW2
Hello Howard, thank you for your question. We have researched the model you have provided, and we would suggest the Valve, part number PS11752082. If you need help placing an order, our customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
The bleach dispenser will not dispense bleach. On the advice from a local appliance tech, I just replaced the Complete Detergent Drawer & this did not fix the problem. The bleach remained in the dispenser after the cycle was complete. In the past there was water mixed in the bleach dispenser, but after this cycle only bleach was in the dispenser. Do you think I need to replace the Dispenser Actuator Switch? Thank you.
For model number WFW92005Q02
Hi Billie, thank you for reaching out. If the dispenser is not dispensing bleach, we suggest that you replace the dispenser actuator switch, part number PS11753574. This actuator switch triggers bleach to be dispensed into the tub of your washing machine. If you require assistance to place an order, please contact customer service. We hope that helps!

Hi there, I seem to be having an overflow problem but ONLY when using the Clean Washer with AFRESH cycle. I replaced the flow meter, washing machine hoses, outer drain hose and cleaned out the drain filter. The overflow spurts out on the LOWER REAR LEFT side of the washer when facing the front of the machine. The overflow also occurs whether or not I use an AFRESH tablet. However, when I do regular laundry, be it towels, clothes, etc, the machine does not overflow, regardless of which cycle I use. Could my issue be this actuator switch and/or the complete dispenser drawer? Thank you so much!
For model number WFW97HEXW0
Hi Steve, thank you for the question. The water pressure to the water inlet valve might be too low. The water inlet valve requires a minimum of 20 psi to shut off properly. If the water inlet valve does not get enough pressure, the valve may not close fully after the power is shut off. As a result, water can leak into the washer and cause it to overflow. If you have a whole house filter, it may be clogged, and the filter needs to be replaced. If this is not the issue, we recommend replacing the detergent dispenser, part number PS3418101. We hope that helps!
Detergent level indicator stays on LOW even when the detergent compartment is full. Compartment has been cleaned. I replaced the sensor WPW10306690 BUT NO LUCK.
What else could it be? Does the washer have to be reset when a part is replaced? Other than this problem the washer runs well.
For model number WFW96HEAU0
Hi James, thanks for the great question! It's not usual for the dispenser to clog up and the sensor to misinform you that it is low when it isn't. This is more common when changing detergents, as they can mix and cause conglomeration. The smart-dispenser will need to be removed and cleaned, and failing that, it will need to be replaced. If you would like assistance placing an order, please contact Customer Service. Good luck with your repair!
