No Power from Touch Pad
Burners still worked but nothing in the oven because the touch pad had no power due to an electrical storm. I removed 6 screws from the back and then two screws from the circuit board and 3 connectors. Removed the old circuit board and put the new one in. Reconnected the 3 connectors and checked to see if that fixed the issue. Hardest
... Read more part was getting the back plate back on. I would do this again - replacement part was around $100 and a new range over $300.

Will this fix an F5 error code? I checked the temperature probe and it read about 1000 ohms, as it should. I cannot think of what else it might be.

Thank you for your question. If the sensor checks out fine, then the issue is likely the electronic control board. Inspect your control board for any signs of burnt, shorted, or damaged contacts. You should also look for any other signs of wear or damage on the control board.
