Washer starts and fills but once it starts to spin it blinks a red light (door lock) and stops running. Can get it to open and sometimes it'll finish the load but the problem seems to be getting worse. It doesn't seem to matter what size of load we put it.

Hello Barb, Thank you for the question. This sounds like the Door Lock is defective and needs to be replaced. Hope this helps!

The washer stopped in the middle of a cycle and wouldn't unlock. Finally unlocked, now the washer won't start. Makes noises as if it is trying to lock but light doesn't come on like it used to. I put it in diagnostic mode, but it didn't seem to move past testing the lock mechanism (kept flashing on rinse/spin). No error codes displayed. Is the latch on the door supposed to move around a little or should it be very tight? Thank you!!!!!!
For model number wfw8410sw03
Hi Chris,
Thank you for your inquiry. There are a few parts you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the door lock latch, the temperature sensor, the drain pump, the door strike, the drive belt and the dispenser actuator switch. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

How do i test this door lock assembly to make sure it’s what is causing my problems?
For model number WFW9151YWOO
Hello Dave, thank you for inquiring. You can test the resistance of the Door Lock Latch with a multimeter. The wax motor in the Door Lock Latch should test as around 1500-1750 ohms to be working properly.

Hello, we have already bought the latch to replace our old one on our Kenmore 110.47571601 but the #20 torx screw with built in washer for the latch is stripped and cannot be reused. Do you sell this screw?
For model number 110.47571601
Hello Mackenzie, thank you for your question. The screw that holds the latch for this unit is PartSelect Number PS11746286. I hope this helps.
When i close washer door it beeps twice but won't start. After slamming door a few times, it may start. Is this a cause of the door latch not functioning properly?
For model number WFW8300SW00
Hello Luz, thank you for inquiring. Yes, this may be due to a faulty Door Lock Latch, this part number PS11751211 for your model washer. You can test the resistance of the Door Lock Latch with a multimeter. The wax motor in the Door Lock Latch should test as around 1500-1750 ohms to be working properly. Hi Nadia, thank you for your question. This is the information for that error code: F11 - Serial Communication Error Between MCU and CCU - Disconnect power and unplug unit. Check wire harness connections to the motor, Motor Control Unit (MCU), and Central Control Unit (CCU). Check the drive system for any worm or failed components and reconnect power and plug unit in. Verify CCU is working by performing diagnostic test or any cycle. Check MCU by looking for operations of the drive motor and check drive motor for powered rotations. Also check the motor and wire harness. Replace defective part. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

How do you trouble shoot a washer that wont start
For model number nfw7300ww02
Hi Harry, start at the power source, make sure the washer is receiving power and is plugged in. It's also possible that the user control board has failed if some of the buttons work but others do not then you will need to replace the board. The lid switch may prevent the washer from starting when the lid is open if the switch is defective then the washer won't start even with the lid closed as with the power cord you can use a multimeter to determine if the switch has continuity. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!

Came home to my front load washer door stuck in the locked position. Found manual door release and opened door. Error codes e2 and f3 flashing. Is this the door switch or is there other things i should check before ordering a switch?
For model number IFW7300WW1
Hello Jason, thank you for inquiring. The E2 F3 code is indicating an inlet water temperature fault. You will need to replace the Temperature Sensor, part number PS11755214 for your model to fix this. You may also want to consider the Dual Cold Water Valve, part number PS11750469, and the Single Hot Water Valve, part number PS11750470 for your model. Good luck with your repair!

Door latch module was defective
This model is a front-loading washer. The spring loaded retainer for the front of the boot must be removed, then the boot can moved to the side exposing the module. Remove the two screws holding the model, pull the model out, remove the three electrical plugs, then reverse this procedure to install new module.
