Everything ok up to door locking, then nothing. After a few minutes, "door locked" starts flashing, and error messages "e01" and "f06". Door stays locked for several minutes. Is the door latch assembly the problem?
For model number Whirlpool WFW95HEXW2 front load washer
Hello Jerry, thank you for your question. We would advise testing the door lock/latch switch assembly with a multi-meter to test the part for continuity, and replacing it if it shows no continuity. The drive motor may also be worth checking to see if it is getting power properly. I hope this helps.

Is it possible for the door latch to engage with the door open, and if so how do you disengage it.
For model number WFW9550WW10
Hello Jim, Thank you for the question. If the latch is defective it can engage. Unfortunately it would need to be replaced. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!

On my washer f11 comes up. So what is the problem?
For model number Wfw9400suoi
Hi Andy,
Thank you for your question. The F11 error code indicates that you have either a faulty electronic control board, part number PS2581064, or a faulty mircocomputer control board, part number PS11745082. To verify which part is causing the issue you can use a multimeter to test them. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

When we load washer close door, hit power button then hit start button the lock engages for a few seconds then disengages and cancels the cycle. Have to power down, open and close door then back up to get cycle to operate. Assuming it’s the door lock. Thanks for your help.
For model number WFW9200SQ00
Hello Bruce, Thank you for the question. This would indicate the Door Lock is not engaging properly and will not allow the cycle to start. The Door Lock may need to be replaced. We hope this helps!

How can I test mine before ordering a new one
For model number 110.47081600
Hi Kevin,
Thank you for your question. To inspect your door lock, first disconnect your appliance from the power source before beginning. Locate and clean your door lock to remove any films or debris that may have built up. It is usually located along the frame of the washing machine, or under the lid.
If cleaning it does not resolve the issue, remove the door lock from the appliance to inspect it for damage, cracking or wear. You likely will need to remove all or part of the washer’s cabinet to remove the lock. If you find your switch shows any of the symptoms above, you will need a replacement door lock. If you need help placing an order for it, customer service is open 7 days a week and anyone will be happy to assist you. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Hi my Maytag washer 4000 series is giving me the error code f73. Can you please tell me what does the code means? Thanks
For model number MHWE400WW01
Hi Brian,
Thank you for your question. The F73 error code is letting you know that there is a communications error between the main control board and the interface control board. You will need to check both parts and the wiring between them. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

I am getting an F 73 error and we cannot figure out how to fix it.
Any suggestions. This is an older washer and boy was it hard to get to the control panel.
For model number WFW9700VA 01
Hi Irma, thank you for reaching out. The F73 means you have an interface communication error. That means that the main control board is not communicating with the front interface control board. We would suggest replacing the Control Board, part number PS11748818, to fix the issue. If you require assistance placing an order, please contact customer service. We hope that helps!
Hello and thank you for writing.
Error code F05 on some washing machines means the water valve PS11751015 has “jammed” . So the washing machine thinks it is full of water and refuses to spin. Error C02 notices the washer does not fill with water except if you run the quick diagnostic test. So chances are the water inlet valve has gone defective and needs to be replaced. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.
Washer comes on, but will not start. No error code. Has been intermittent for the past few months. Tried all cycles, same problem. Sometimes holding the start button would start it and sometimes unplugging then re-plugging would work. Now I've tried everything and it will not start. Very good at troubleshooting. Have meter. Any suggestions to isolate the problem. Thanks, JC
For model number WFW9500TW01
Hello JC, Thank you for the question. This could be an issue with the Door Lock not telling the controls the door is closed and ok to start. With a multi-meter to test the part for continuity, and replacing it if it shows no continuity. The drive motor may also be worth checking to see if it is getting power properly. We hope this helps!

Washer would not start reliably.
Followed the video on the website. Very easy to replace the part and it fixed the problem. The trickiest part was reinstalling the ring that holds the rubber gasket in place.
