Do u need to get a new plug???
Hi Fredy,
Thank you for your question. If the plug you have in the appliance is still working and not damaged then you can reuse the plug you have.
Good luck with this repair!

This is the model number for a Whirlpool electric range. My question is this: Is there a specific surface heating element (8 inch) for home canning that can be used with this stove model?
For model number RF111PXSQ3
Hi Lisa, thank you for your question. Unfortunately no. You would just have to make sue you set your current element to the correct temperature you would need for canning. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

The heat in my Roper left front 8 in heating element , goes straight to high ( when dial set anywhere from low to medium) and it will not regulate. I have to turn it completely off and start over. Will replacing the circular element fix this problem ?
For model number FEP310GWO
Hello Mary, thank you for your question. The issue is probably with the switch that controls that burner. We would recommend replacing Part Number: PS11740775. I hope this helps!

The 8" coil sometimes heats and sometimes doesn't. Is this a problem with the coil or the switch? If it's the switch, is this something I can easily replace?
Hello Greg, thank you for reaching out. We recommend that you test both the element switch and the surface element itself to determine which part is defective. We have attached a relevant video to assist you with the element switch replacement. Let us know if you have further questions. We hope this helps!
I just put the drip bowl in and plugged in the new heating element and I was done. It heats much faster and is level now so cooking is much easier. Also the parts arrived sooner than I expected, so I was very satisfied overall. Couldn't have been much easier all around. I will use Partselect.com in the future. Thanks
element burned out shortly after purchase of range, one was purchased locally and did not fit properly, causing element to burn out
replaced element with new one , worked perfectly-

Lost element clips and bad burner element
Pushed elements to remove them. Put on new clips by snapping on clips to all burner elements. Tilted each burner 60 degrees allowing room for the clip to clear the range hood and pushed the contacts on the burner elements into the electrical slot. Turned on each burner to make sure they work. All burner element's work fine.
