Easy repair, took about 30 minutes.
Part was fine but it seemed to take a long time to get here. Washer is working like new.

I am looking to replace the water inlet valve, part number WP8578343. I don't understand the need for the bimetal thermistor. Is there a way to use an inlet valve that would work on this machine without the extra connections? I have not seen this setup before. This part seems unavailable or extremely expensive. Thanks.
For model number 110.28632700 Kenmore washer
Hello Michael, thank you for the great question. We have researched your model and found that the water inlet valve, part number PS11746767, comes with a bi-metal thermistor. We recommend you use the model-compatible parts. We hope this information helps!
