Heat element was cracked
Pulled dishwasher out unplug the wire on each side unscrew the nut on each side lift up in the back of element pull it out on metal holder for element and put the new one in really easy thanks so much for the help!!

Does the silverware basket have individual slots for the forks, spoons and knives or is it just sections?

Hello Larry,
There are six divided sections in the silverware basket as opposed to slots for the individual pieces.
