I have black marks that look like liquid spraying out underneath and it is extremely loud during the spin cycle. Is there a bearing kit for this machine? I didn’t see it listed in the parts. Thanks

Hello Mindy and thanks for writing. There is a basket hub kit # PS11723155 that should address your symptoms. Removed a cap in the center of the tub basket which has a bolt that needs removed I believe it's a 9/16 after I removed the bolt I then removed the center of the bottom of the basket assembly which then allowed me to get to the basket hub that needed replaced it was a little dirty and I couldn't get it out so I sprayed a little penetrating oil on it let it sit a little then I was able to remove the hub and install the new one then I put it all back together and the washer is working great. Good Luck with your repair.

Oes plate stator works as a gasket or some how help as one

Hello Omar and thanks for writing. In an electric motor, the stator provides a rotating magnetic field that drives the rotating armature; in a generator, the stator converts the rotating magnetic field to electric current. In fluid powered devices, the stator guides the flow of fluid to or from the rotating part of the system. I nee to order the plate stator. Will they work with this model number? Also, the ones i took out appear to be like washers. is this common that they wear down that much? can i send a picture to you of what is left of the two stators? please advise. thank you, carl

Hello Carl, thank you for your question. Yes, these stator plates are compatible with your unit. They come in a set, so you get two when ordering this part number. Stator and rotors do wear quite often and its not uncommon for them to go bad. The part between the two plates is the stator itself Part Number: PS11754517. Good luck with your repair!

Will the washer squeal loud in agitating mode short and long agitations if the stator plates start to wear or is the squealing another issue? This is a Maytag Bravos XL. Thanks in advance. I have already fixed this washer twice now, once new bearing seal kit and another new water solenoid but the squealing is unbearable LOL!

Hi Josiah, Thank you for your question. If the washer is noisy when it is agitating, you will need to check the basket hub kit and the suspension rod supports. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

The final spin does not work on the machine. The code E5 indicates the wrong kind of detergent was used. What parts would be effected?
For model number WTW8900BC0

Hi Wilson, Thank you for your question. Overtime, using too much soap can cause bad odors to occur in your washer. Some laundry detergents and nearly all fabric softeners contain a small amount of animal fat. When you use too much of these products, the fat will congeal and gum up on the lower part of the machine under the tub. Using too much soap over a period of time will cause residue to grow. This will allow mold, dirt and bacteria to stick to it. Check your owner's manual for the correct soap to use. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
