When i turned left the dual burner to leftr or right, the element glow and then within a few second it goes out. Do you think this is a element problem or it's something else. Thanks

Front heating element works, but doesn't generate much heat. Is this the controller with too much resistance? Can this be checked with with an ohmmeter, and what range should it be?

Hello Kevin, thank you for your question. The first part you will want to check is your element. It should be reading between 0 - 120 ohms to be working correctly. The other part to check would be your infinite (or surface burner) switch. When you remove that part from the appliance, connect each probe from your multi meter to the prongs and then turn the switch to an on position. If you get no continuity, then the switch is the issue. We hope that helps. Good luck with your repair
